Honkai Impact 3 is a free-to-play, 3D action-RPG game that immerses you in dangerous conflict against otherworldly monsters. Developed by miHoYo and originally released in 2016, Honkai Impact 3 or Honkai Impact 3rd is the third installment of the Honkai Gakuen series, recycling most of the old characters in a new and separate story.

In this role-playing game, the world is in an alternate timeline wherein otherworld cataclysms known as the Honkai ravage the planet. Valkyries, trained female fighters under the command of the Schicksal Organization, are tasked to suppress these threats. You play as the Captain of the flying battleship Hyperion and are in charge of these warriors.

Save the world, Captain

Honkai Impact 3’s combat system features real-time hack-and-slash and beat-‘em-up gameplay, a rock-paper-scissors-based character role mechanic, and 3 Valkyrie characters in a team whenever you enter a battle. You control one Valkyrie, while the other two are AI-controlled. The game allows you to switch between them seamlessly. You need to augment Valkyries Honkai Energy and equip them with various battlesuits, weapons, and Stigmata—equipable character cards that boost stats—to survive.

You can obtain these upgrades via crafting or the gacha feature. Meanwhile, the game is notable for incorporating a variety of genres in its mechanics. For one, there is the main story campaign, a side story campaign that features Hard Mode, and an open-world exploration campaign featuring special characters. These all have visual novel-style cutscenes and fully animated scenes. You can also participate in multiplayer combat in co-op raids and arena boss fights. 

If you’re tired of combat, you can relax through the Dorm mode, which allows you to interact with the Valkyries and their Stigmata once you unlock them. You can decorate your dorm and visit other players. There is much for you to do—so much, in fact, that you may get overwhelmed by the number of activities you can quickly unlock. This is a great title to try, though, as it supports cross-platform play.

Banquet Dance of Shade and Invitation to the Mad Banquet events

In addition to the thrilling gameplay and captivating storyline, Honkai Impact 3rd continues to enthrall its players with exciting events and updates. The latest addition to the roster is the eagerly anticipated Banquet Dance of Shade event, which brings in a fresh wave of excitement as players embark on a new adventure filled with challenges. In it, players can reap hefty rewards ranging from Crystals to ADV Skill Materials.

Navigating through the event’s highlights is made easy with mission-tracking features. By accessing the Main Story Sandbox - Mission Panel - Collecting Figments tab, players can monitor their progress and track objectives related to the main event. The completion of event stories not only advances the narrative but also yields valuable rewards such as Crystals and Honkai Shards. Moreover, players will encounter the “Master of All” stage upon accepting the mission Invitation to the Lamb.

Here, they’ll engage in Trial of Domination and Spirit Taming activities, each offering unique rewards including Crystals, Ancient Willpowers, and ADV Skill Materials. Of course, exploration is key in uncovering hidden treasures scattered throughout the event missions. Players must utilize the abilities of Shadow Servant, Shadow Bullet, and Shadow Familiar to locate and open chests, each containing valuable rewards such as Crystals and Phase Shifters.

As with any limited-time event, players must seize the opportunity to collect rewards within the designated time frame. While the Banquet Dance of Shade event will remain permanently available, some rewards will only be accessible for a limited period. On the other hand, Invitation to the Mad Banquet is an upcoming event that will feature a new S-rank battlesuit, Mad Pleasure: Shadowbringer.

Players can also join the Back to Your Roots event, where they can accomplish several tasks to obtain the Herrscher of Origin Character Card. Plus, players who join the Flying to Oxia Invitation Contest event will have the chance to snag Sugary Starburst’s outfit Fuzzy Pink Love. Logging in during the event period also ensures goodies like Splendors of Amber Stigma Option, Equipment Supply Cards, Crystals, and more.

Gacha codes 

Honkai Impact 3 has always been a loot-heavy title, with players relying on chests and monster drops in the game. However, another way to gain rare items is through the gacha system where a player can use topped-up in-game currency in exchange for pulls or spins, allowing them to obtain different tier items. 

Gacha is a great way to get new items without breaking a sweat, but it can be unreasonable for some players, especially if the odds are never in your favor. Good thing that like any other gacha system, Honkai Impact codes are floating around the Internet. You can use these to get free rare items, costumes, in-game currency, and crystals.
